Welcome to Modern Wood Runner!
My name is Eric Wilken, and I’ve been a professional craftsman for well over 25 years. My wife, Sucheta, and I own and operate The Resplendent Crow in St. Louis, Missouri. We manufacture and paint some of the finest furniture in the world at our 20K sqft facility.
I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, and traveled all over the USA chasing cabinet and furniture work. I am an avid runner and lover of all things nature. I am passionate about exotic cars, and my favorite beer is Blue Moon!
I firmly believe that life is NOT supposed to be easy and that struggle keeps you hungry. If you find you are losing that “fire” in life, create some struggle and get yourself moving again. Stay hungry!
